Dr. Kim Mills has 16 years of experience as a metallurgist in the mining and manufacturing industries.  In her role at Forte Dynamics, Kim supports the team and clients with heap leach and process engineering for mine development and enhancement projects. 

Kim is an MMSA Qualified Person in Processing and Metallurgy.  She is also a recognized expert in the field of hydrometallurgy and has several publications and a patent from her work on pressure oxidation of enargite concentrates.   

Her experience includes due diligence reviews, metallurgical test work supervision, scoping and feasibility studies, process development, modeling and optimization, plant design and commissioning, and safety and regulatory compliance.  She has international experience in base, precious and battery metals, as well as rare earths and industrial minerals, and has worked on projects across North and South America, Europe, Africa, and Asia.
