Jack Roberts is a Mechanical Engineer with over 5 years of experience in the modeling of heap leach operations and serves as Forte’s Director of Modeling.  

Jack has developed dynamic hydraulic analysis models for heap leach pumping operations, thermal models for cold climate heap leach operations, site wide water balance models and heap leach recovery models for existing operations to enhance production and optimize operational practices.  

Jack has worked extensively in developing and enhancing Forte's dynamic heap leach recovery models both in GoldSim and in Opencontour software platforms and using these models to forecast metal recovery, optimize heap leach operations and maximize project NPV. Jack also has experience in engineering design work including pumping and piping design, storm water runoff modeling, and collection system design.
