Chase Ruff serves as the director of processing supporting clients around the world.  Chase joined Forte in 2021 as a metallurgist and process engineering and has worked with clients on projects at all stages of development as well as on improvement projects for clients in production. 

Chase has extensive operating experience, having worked at mines in Northern Nevada for nearly 15 years.  Chase’s experience includes project engineering/management, comminution, copper heap leach, copper SX/EW, gold/copper flotation, gold/silver gravity recovery, gold/silver CIL/CIP, and tailings construction/management.  Chase also provides financial modeling for Forte’s clients to help inform business and investment decisions and has helped develop a contingency analysis tool that allows clients to mathematically determine an appropriate contingency for their project.  


Chase holds a B.Sc in Chemistry from the Colorado School of Mines and an Masters in Business Administration from Regis University.  He is also a Qualified Professional Member of the Mining and Metallurgical Society of America, a Qualified Technical Auditor for the International Cyanide Management Code, and a member of SME.
